I've noted that with the older formula Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant you can apply a wax over it, such as Fusion Estate Wax, etc. However, there is no such mention with the Si02 Sealant. Can you add a carnauba wax on top, or is it not advisable?

My thought on the subject is: Both combinations may be similar in terms of agressiveness but are not exactly the same. One would be more agressive than the other, possibly only by a matter of degrees. If that is true and both are able to do the job of removing swirls and other imperfections...

Yup. Parts of my weekends are usually spent tending to the cars. Get the occasional comment and I'm sure I'm talked about by the neighbors. Rarely see others doing the same. And it certainly doesn't help when I put on knee pads to clean the wheels 😜.

I've had good results with the Purple Haze wax, which is similar to the regular version of Blue Velvet, only softer. These are really nice boutique waxes. Dodo Juice makes a quality product.

The Synergy results look excellent. But if you want to compare vs. Collinite's longest lasting wax, I would go against 476.

To get my cars through the winter I stripped the old wax and sealant off and applied a new coat of Menzerna Power Lock sealant and topped that with with Collinite 476S.

Almost exactly the combination I used on our new X5, Menzerna sealant and Collinite 476.

Another vote for 476. It's the most durable of the three.

Sounds excellent. Power Lock is my preference also. But to pick up on something Kamikaz1961 mentioned, if you use FG400 then using SI1000 might be over doing it. The FG400 should finish down nicely. Then the FG4500 (or 4000) should take care of anything leftover and really bring out the clarity...

Just wanted to say I tried Phoenix on our blue 2012 BMW 328i and was very impressed with the results.

I am a big fan of Powerlock also but the bottle says to wait 3 hours before applying anything on top of it.
