sealants or waxes will yield the same result when the dirt hits the car you won't get the beading. It sucks. I've been there. if you're at an apartment request a new spot. If you own your own house...cut the tree down. We all know the environment is secondary to a shiny car.

It's not the wax! I used to park under a tree at my old apartment... The water doesn't bead because of the dirt, debris, etc. coming off the tree with the rain. It doesn't allow the water surface tension to do it's thing.

Change the name, charge twice as much!

Hey bud. Stripper scent does last a while. It's true about the Downy beads not lasting but hey, smells great in my car when I need it to. You can try putting dryer sheets up underneath the seats where they cant see them. I wonder if that dakota bomb gets on the windows and dash...?

They smell great but they don't stick around. Lasts just as long as every other thing I've used...maybe a little shorter. Best smelling though.

I just wanted to chime in and say Turtle wax bug and tar remover is the worst product I've ever used in all my time as a detailer. It might be the worst product i've ever used for anything actually. Try poor boys bug remover or Tarminator works well too.

yeah, i've used them both. I just don't know if one goes better with BlackIce. I think I'm going to start with the Blackfire Polymer spray. I have XMT spray wax at home and maybe I'll use my free sample for pinn spray wax.

I just started another thread but wanted to simplify it. To anyone that uses BlackFire's BlackICE, what is the best topper for maintenance washes?

I'll be placing an order tomorrow with the new Blackfire BlackICE Monton wax. I want a spray wax to go along with it for maintenance washes. 1) Does anyone have any input on what sprayable goes best with BlackICE? I'm thinking either: BlackFire Wet Diamond polymer spray XMT 360 spray wax...

Interesting about the dried up beads. I used less but my black carpets didn't have any residue.
