All good advice. You might also try: 1. It it's a PC, don't use the handle. Just place your hand on the head of the machine to control it and apply pressure. Works for me. 2. Don't hold the machine in a "death grip". Grip it firmly, but don't squeeze.

While I don't have a black car, I have used rinseless washes on a white one and 2 red ones for several years without causing a bunch of marring. One thing I might mention, I have used ONR, DP RW&G, and QEW, all with good results. I would have no reservations using any of the three on my vehicles.
