I have great results when starting with Klasse hi gloss sealant, then cover that with Pinnacle carnauba (the cheaper one). Use Finish Kare 425 for quick details and Optimum spray wax for touch ups between waxings. Take a look below.

I use woolite by hand in the utility sink and it works great. Any type will do, they just have different fragrances. Hand dry towels then give them a shake when dry to re-fluff. Cheap and it works.

Great for getting off tar and other sticky substances.

Although Im not a pro, I am a fanatic about keeping my cars looking great. Im interested in opinions on the best sealant for new cars. I'd like to offer some protection from the desert sun and sand. I have have read the posts on Wolfgang deep gloss sealant, the old standard Liquid Glass as well...

Mike, was UWW+ left off the list on purpose?

Im using a $3 bottle of woolite in a sink of warm water and the towels come out perfect. Im not knocking the MF cleaners, but I figured that was just too much for my use.

For just road dust on an otherwise not so dirty car, Ive been using UWW+ the FK425 with nice results. I go through about 6 microfiber cloths in the process, but those are easilt cleaned with a sink full of woolite and water.

Does anyone add Ultima waterless wash to their wash bucket of H2O and soap to put extra lubricants in the wash?

P21S worked great on my stainless steel exhaust pipes. Easy to use on a microfiber cloth then give it the old shoeshine motion. The amount used is so small, that container may last forever.

OK, here is my confusion: New car, applied Klasse sealant then Pinnacle carnauba. All good. For quick detailing, is it OK to always use a QD/Waterless detailer or occasionally use a spray wax like OCW? Right now, Im QDing with Pinnacle Crystal mist with great results. But wanted to try FK425...

Can you up the UWW+ concentrate in the 22 oz sprayer and get an even better result? Is the UWW+ being used to replace quick detailers such as Finish Kare 425?

Thanks Mike. Since its a white car, I really dont see residue next to stripes. The Pinnacle carnauba goes on and comes off so smooth, I dont see any residue. Can the OCW be used as a quick detailer? If not, do you use the OCW after quick detailing with another product such as FK425 or UWW+ ...

Cool car Kev! LOL. Ive been using a light Calif duster, back and forth only, no circular motion. Then the pinnacle crystal mist, also back and forth light strokes only, but Im sure anything will work well. Mine hasnt even seen a regular wash with water yet, been keeping her quick detailed.
