I'm kind of in the same boat...I sold my Dewalt and bought a 3401. However, I "feel" as if I need one, rather than actually needing it. Most of the time customers love the correction I'm able to accomplish with my 3401. They wouldn't pay any extra or even notice what I could do with a rotary...

I find that my 3401 is much better with a LC foam pad...as far as vibration and control. I use the Optimum MF pads, but feel that the machine vibrates right through them. I love the pads though...they cut and finish so great!!!! Maybe some gel padded gloves could help things out?

Don't own a GG, but have seen guys do great work with them. The only reason I went with the FLEX, was due to the reputation. As far as power is concerned, I'd have to try both out to make that call. However, the forced rotation of the FLEX 3401 is amazing!!!

I have one and love it. However, I do miss the ease of use with my PC (i.e. being able to maneuver better). It's not a huge difference between the two machines, but enough to make me notice. I'll probably get another PC soon for areas that don't allow my FLEX to roam. Currently, I am using the...

Well.....according to my supplier this morning, I might not have the Opti-Coat after all. Sorry folks. He made it sound like a sure thing.

Came across this last night while doing a YouTube search for Optimum Opti-Clean. The company is called Croftgateusa. I watched a few videos out of curiosity....anyone else used, seen, or heard of this product line? Specifically, their waterless wash?

Add Opti Coat 2.0 and Opti Clean to my list of items to bring. I just ordered up 4 tubes of Opti Coat 2.0. Gonna bring a tube up if someone wants to apply it on a panel.

LOL.....My two bottles of Old Spice, for a bottle of BF Polish. ;-) I'm almost 100% positive they sell empty bottles.
