I have a 2012 Porsche Cayman R that needs light correction, permanent coating application, full interior cleaning (including thorough cleaning of carpeted areas. I live in an eastern suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.
I have 15 month old twins, so no time anymore to do this work. I need somebody...
Well, I ended up putting on 4 coats of 303 protectant. This actually minimized the appearance of the scratches quite a bit.
I still am wondering if there is anything else that can be done.
See the 1st photo for reference. Any products/techniques that you think will be helpful to minimize the scratches?
I also included some exterior shots of my car with winter tires and rims. The pics were taken with my phone, so not the best quality.
Thanks!
Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel. No sling, great natural look. Longevity is fair. I apply it once a week to keep things the tires looking great.
It is a very different look from Tuff Shine. I feel that Tuff Shine sits on top of the rubber, while Optibond soaks into the tire. I much prefer the...
Will this have more water resistance than 303 protectant? I already have 303, but the label does not mention anything about water resistance. The product seems to be focused on UV protection.
Now that the snow is here, I noticed that large amount of snow ends up on the interior vinyl and leather on the door and driver's seat. What would be a good product to waterproof the vinyl and leather, without changing the look too much?
I need an AIO for light cleaning and protection of leather. This is to be used every other week, as maintenance in between using the WG Leather Cleaner and the WG Leather Conditioner. I use the WG products every few months.
I am looking for something that is very quick and easy to apply and...
In addition to using Opticlean on paint, it works very well as a light cleaner for all non-fabric interior surfaces.
It is nice on interiors because it does not streak or look blotchy. It buffs away very easily and leaves a nice looking and feeling finish.
I keep a little spray bottle of...

For example: [email protected]
This makes for a more professional impression.
Thanks for all of the feedback. I already have all of the products that I listed, so I want to stay with these products.
Knowing the hardness of my paint, Poli-seal, Klasse, and Ez Creme Glaze will not do any correcting. I was mainly looking for some feedback on which of the products will...
Environment: Northeast Ohio
Car is a 2012 model that is well cared for. It will be garaged on nights and weekends, and will be outdoors, Mon. - Fri. for 10 hrs./day.
My goal is to have a clean and smooth surface for the LSP's to adhere, and to use a combination of LSP's that provide great...
UPDATE: I just got an Optimum MF Cutting Pad from Autogeek. I did a test spot on the hood.
With the combo of the MF Cutting Pad and Ultimate Compound + A LOT of downward pressure, I was able to finally remove the shallow swirls!
NEXT QUESTION: It appears that there is zero marring after...
I don't think there is much I could have done or could still do to insure that I do not get these isolated swirls. I am super careful with my technique, and use the best products.
I guess what I am trying to figure out is:
1. Knowing that Ultimate Compound + LC Green Foam Pad did not remove...
Car: Metallic black 2012 Porsche
I care for the car with all of the proper wash/dry/seal techniques to induce the absolute minimal swirls. Still, the car has many random single line swirls. These are not the type of swirls that are closely grouped in a circular pattern. They seem very...
