Has anyone tried both Poorboys Swirl Remover 2.5 and XMT 3 (I think that's the right number for the heavier duty swirl remover)? Is either more effective than the other? Easier to use? I'm asking because I've used XMT 1 plus glaze, and there's still some swirls. So I want to get a bit more...

So I take it that either will work OK on my red (didn't want to wind up with a purple car!) - I'm tempted to try both, one on the left side, other on the right!

I've really enjoyed the AG site, but wonder if anyone has considered a section on product reviews? I can ask a question about a product in one of the forums and get responses, but sometimes the string wanders off from the original topic so I'd find it convenient to turn to a section specifically...

My Miata is Classic Red - not quite fire engine red, a little more orange than that, but close. So would I be better off with the regular Natty's, or Natty's blue?

I've used OPT twice and been very happy with it. I use a lot of MF's because my car gets really dirty - I mean mud caked on the sides - so when I rinse the MF not all the dirt comes out. Maybe I'm overdoing, but if I'm gonna wash 4 MF's I may as well wash 12. Earl

I use pretty much the same process Jeff does, though I go thru a lot more mf's. That's because when I rinse them in clean water, there's still plenty of dirt on them and I don't want to use them for more wiping. I probably use more MF's than necessary but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I think...

OK, I've been reading here about applying pressure when using the PC to polish. To get swirls out, I've read that I should press enough so that the motor starts to bog down, then back off (seems like high pressure to me) Being new, I'm concerned about applying too much pressure. So is there...

Well I did my very first PC polish & wax job yesterday. I have to admit having some of the same feelings other newbies here have mentioned - fear of screwing things up, etc. - but all went fairly well. To tell the truth, the swirls are still with me (I used XMT Swirl Remover 1 on an orange pad)...

Thanks for all the comments. Meg's NXT's price in the 64 oz size seems hard to beat ($8!) and that's important to me. Think I'll try Duragloss or PB soon tho just to try something different.
