New 2013 cadillac ats 3.6 black pita

A "bit" is right. They're both built on the same Alpha platform, as is the new Camaro. Yes, that means that all three cars can accommodate the 7.0L V8 from the Z06.

How do I finish this down - 2010 black A5

Thanks everyone. I may need to pick up a more appropriate Menz but I'll hit the test spot with CCS white and the Menz I have and see if I can get close. I'll update later today with pics.

How do I finish this down - 2010 black A5

Thanks Pureshine but which color pad would you recommend? Red didn't seem to get me anywhere with the XMT. I have the Optimum polish, Meg's UP, XMT1, and Menz FF3000. I have white, red, blue and gold LC foam CCS pads. Any recommendations on speed and pressure would be helpful as well...

How do I finish this down - 2010 black A5

Good evening gentlemen. My wife's flat black 2010 Audi A5 had received a few dealer washes. The car looks great at a distance and has a great gloss to it but under the lights it's swirled up pretty badly. This car, and my CTS-V, have rock hard paint so picked up the Meg's MF cutting disc for...

    Detail: CTSV

Did you find the clear to be very hard? I can't seem to find the right pad/product combination to completely remove the webs on mine.

Cadillac Black - constant cob webs

It was bothering me so I hit a test spot with XMT 4 on a soft green LC CCS followed by BL, V7, and Souveran and its better but not perfect. I had a black Challenger previous to the V and I didn't have these issues. I guess I need to learn to accept a less than perfect finish. This one is...

Cadillac Black - constant cob webs

I have some poor iPad pics but I think you get the idea. Not terrible but frustrating when you put a lot of time in.

Cadillac Black - constant cob webs

I haven't. I'm thinking that the Meg's UP may not have cleared all the defects prior to the subsequent steps. That or somehow I'm inducing the webs when removing the products? I use good quality MF, like chinchillas, and fold them properly using light pressure. Does a coating add a swirl or...

Cadillac Black - constant cob webs

Hello gentlemen. I have a MY12 Cadillac CTSV in black and it seems that no matter what I do I have webs in the sun. I just finished the following: LC white CCS - Meg's ultimate polish 2 coats blacklight, V7, pinnacle souveran 1 week and one 2 bucket wash later and it looks really bad in the...

What did I do wrong? First time clay.

Thanks guys. I applied all products by hand and did not use a stripping shampoo. I washed the car again today and buffed the area again really well with the CM and it looks a lot better. In your opinion, is it necessary to polish after every clay to remove marring or will the correct...

What did I do wrong? First time clay.

Hi guys. I've been around for a while but this is my first post. Great forum. I decided to try my first clay before waxing my wife's black (I know) A5. I washed and dried the car and decided on one half of the trunk lid for my test spot. I clayed with Mother's clay and used quite a bit of...
