is that like clip thing to hold the dash cam? The size of dash cam is less than one inch height and about 2.7 inches long. Will it fit?

it looks awesome but I have a problem. I have to remove the mount every time I get out of the car. I didn't want to leave it there cuz thief would love to steal.....

Now that's an idea. Where can I find it? Maybe flexible cord or tube to hang around the mirror so it can carry the dash cam??? What do you think?

I may end up buying dashboard mount but the problem is the bracket. If I put it on a dashboard mount, it will not be able to record in rear. Any suggestions/idea? I'd like to avoid putting it on the windshield.
