Sorriy if already posted, but couldn't find it. How does the surbuf pad work with the Flex 3401?

My PC7424 didn't die but I upgraded to a Flex 3401. Love it. I may end up using it only 3 times per year but it's so nice to use with awesome results. Not sorry one bit that I upgraded, however; will hold onto 7424.
