I do believe that the "green blob" is various colors of Play-Doh all dried up. Or maybe it IS something really nasty that would have continued to grow and eventually consume the whole Family on their next vacation!

The blue Lowe's buckets that I have stop the grit guard a little more than half way down. They must have several different diameter blue buckets because mine do NOT look like those in the pictures.

The blue Lowe's buckets do NOT work. The guards sit up off the bottom way too far. I need new buckets.

It looks just like the one in the link that you had attached. It worked great. I did my whole Bike with it.

Wen I bought my GG a month or so back I bought an additional 3.5" backing plate and some LC 4" pads because I was going to use it on my motorcycle. I haven't used the 6" plate yet but man that 3.5 worked great for the Bike. The 5" plate is on my short list.

You may be right about the Junkman using it for claying BUT if I remember correctly he said it can be diluted way down and used as a quick detailer. I'm not sure to be honest.... I've watched so many damn videos and read so many detailing posts in the last month that they're all running...

I know from watching his videos that the Junkman uses it and recommends it highly. If it's good enough for the Junkman it's definetly good enough for me.

I used the Ultimate Compound yesterday on my Harley to remove swirls and light scratches. No hand polishing for me... too much work!!!! It did a great job using the GG DA.

I never buy that stuff. I tell the salesman as soon as we agree to a deal on the new car.... "I won't be buying any of that rustproofing, scotch guarding or other stuff you sell so don't waste my time or yours. If you insist on trying to sell it to me I'll just leave and buy the car somewhere...

Great detail job on a great looking Bike. A word of caution on the S100 Cycle Cleaner...... I'm not a fan at all. It is very harsh and difficult to totally wash out of every crack. I don't use it for that reason. Since you did a full detail having leftover "drips" isn't going to be a problem...

The warranty is one of the main reasons I went with the GG (as well as the $98 price!). If it breaks down in a couple years Griot's will replace it.
