I feel your pain OP. Through a series of unfortunate events, my mother-in-law lives with my wife and I. Recently she got a new Mini Countryman and decided to wash it while I wasn't home. I didn't even realize until I went to wash my car, and found polishing micro-fiber towels with grime on...

Never used it unfortunately, but when I'm using a spray wax I'll have two towels. One to wipe off the majority and another to follow immediately to buff and dry completely. I've normally got them in both hands and just go through the car after I've sprayed the car down.

What spray wax are you using? I've never had any leftover residue from a spray wax, and I'm positive I use too much to do a car lol

Does the air compressor need to have a minimum SCFM? Also, would recommend a minimum tank size for it to work effectively?

So, is the extra power in the GG 6" orbital worth the extra cost over the 7424XP?

Love this forum! I've been doing some more research, and have another question: Is there any reason the 7424XP would be preferred over the 6" GG Random Orbital? The GG is a little more expensive, but from what I read the extra power makes correction a little easier and quicker. Only problem...

This might be a dumb question, but does every car need paint correction occasionally? i.e. for all you guys who keep your cars in great shape, wash with two bucket method, etc, does the car still gradually build up some scratches and need correction every once in awhile?
