Are drying towels supposed to be air dried? I’ve always used low heat without issue.

Hey guys, Tomorrow I plan on ceramic coating my car for the first time with Gyeon Mohs, however a couple of weeks ago I used Ech20 as a drying aid so this needs to be removed as I’m seeing it contains siO2. What’s the best way to remove it? Things I have at my disposal: Descale, Gyeon Lift...

Bumping this up. Roughly how many applicators are used for a single coat, like Gyeon Mohs, just the applicator it comes with or will I need more?

Also still debating between Mohs and CQUK on my light gray M2 (not pictured). Leaning Mohs.

I found Gyeon’s Water spot remover to be pretty good. I used descale (bucket) to remove my water spots and just found myself using the Gyeon product to get them out. I learned I have very hard water so not positive if the rinse post descale left new water spots or the descale was ineffective.

Interesting. I’ve definitely gotten a little bit rainbow’ing. Thanks for clearing that up. Safe to put on a second coat 24 hours after the first? Or did I miss the window?

I’ve run into the issue where the rainbow effect isn’t so evident with D.Lux. Sometimes I’ll get it, and then on another part of the wheel I won’t. Perhaps too much product? Conditions weren’t optimal, 80 and plenty humid.

With UK3.0, does it have to flash to be ready to remove? Meaning, if it’s not flashing, wait until it does?

I ceramic coated the same wheels about a month ago p, boy we’re they a pain the butt. Awesome work. The paint looks flawless.

I feel like they have to with the emergence of Gyeon’s EVO line and the recent updates to G-Technic as well. They came out with that professional DQuartz but I remember Pan the Organizer mentioned they’re working on a consumer version. Guess we’ll see!

On top of my new car coming in, i now own half of the the CarPro and Gyeon lines. :laughing:

Was recently reading through some TRC reviews on Amazon and some have reported marring and others have loved it.

Love my uberflex as well.

Option 2. I had my mindset on UK3.0 but slickness and only needing one true coat swayed me to Mohs. I’ll be applying mine in a few weeks.
