Driving behind someone, what frustrates you?

Let me get this straight....Some people here think it's ok to risk KILLING some guy because he was passing another guy and then slowing down? SHEEEEEEEET! He probably just wanted to get another look at that Big Block, Lowered Gigantic Ford Wagon running on Huge Wheels with Goodyear Racing...

3M paint protection films - opinions

I would think this stuff would be really popular in Florida, Mike. I used to live in WPB, and I do remember the "Love Bugs" They mass by the millions during mating season ...hence the name. But for some reason they seem to be attracted to I-95, and will cover the front of your car if you travel...

    Damn You Harbor Freight!

Not a big HF shopper myself...but I did buy the DA Polisher, and so far so good. Did a polish and wax on the Beemer and it's still in one piece. But when I do go in there I end up getting a bunch of junk I had no intentions of buying. Kinda like a trip to Costco, but cheaper....I don't come...

    Finally doing a jeep detail.

The carpet in a wrangler isn't like plush carpet you'll find in normal cars. It's an acrylic open weave like indoor/ outdoor carpet. It dries very fast. You can actually remove it and hose it down and hang it up to dry...if you need to! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using AG Online

Harbor Freight DA Polisher - New

This week I went to HF in San Diego and bought the DA polisher. The price was $45...... It's on sale for $59.99, and they accepted the 25% coupon I got on line. The coupon is a one item coupon and cannot be used with "CLEARANCE" items. Brought it home and works fine.

Harbor Freight DA Polisher - New

I'm buying the DA polisher. Price is $59.95 minus the 20% online coupon for a final price of $47.98....Basically, I'm betting fifty bucks it will be good enough for the four times a year I buff out my car. Besides, I like a trip to HF every once in a while.....A lot of junk yeah, but some things...

What is your favorite wheel cleaner & tire dressing?

Now for a lesson on how far detailing has come in 45 years....Back in "The Day" we didn't have tire dressing back then. Hell, we didn't even have ArmorAll! To get our wide oval, raised white letter tires to shine, the secret was Johnson's Kitchen Wax! Those of us who knew the secret had...

Trans Am WS6 Convertible Paint Correction

And now for something you've probably never heard...Back in the days BEFORE ARMOR ALL even hit the shelves...long before any type of tire dressing, we used to use Johnson's Kitchen Wax to shine up our Goodyear Wide Oval tires....it lasted until the next washing, but those of us who knew the...

What is your favorite wheel cleaner & tire dressing?

303 leaves the rubber looking new, but natural...I don't like my tires all shiny. For wheels, I leave them for last and use the same soap&water as the rest of the car, with a dedicated brush...On my BMW I'll spray first with Eagle brand (Yes Eagle) wheel cleaner to help with the brake dust...

    Dropped clay.

If you don't see the harm in using clay that was dropped on the ground, you really just don't get the whole idea here. If even one grain of sand is rubbed repeatedly across your finish, it will look WAY WORSE than when you started. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using AG Online

Aston Martin Vantage Polished & Opti-Coated

Your dad is a lucky guy to have a son who just happens to enjoy detailing the way you do. And that A/M deserves nothing less! Great job! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using AG Online

Worst interior I have encountered so far...

This is why I don't loan my cars out. Other people have different views on cleanliness, and if someone brought my car back looking like this our friendship could suffer. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using AG Online
