I love their Aquawax as a drying aid. Leaves a super slick / streak free shine that boast your protection. The car wash is real good as well and it doesn't strip your LSP. Always had real good experience with their products.

Is the second picture a before shot? Looks like you have some water spots / etching. What type of compound are you using? The other shots look great for first attempt. I'd say you are well on your way.

Generally, waxes and sealants only show off the work you done before applying. If the paint is clean and swirl free, then just about any quality wax or sealant will bring out the gloss in the paint.

What kind of polisher were you using? The DA polishers are designed to prevent heat built up like you mentioned. Also, how hard were you pressing down on the pads?

I am thinking about getting a Porter Cable DA. I already have some Meg's Ultimate Compound. I want to get an ultra fine polish and then something in-between UC and a fine polish... a medium cut if you will. Any suggestions for these two products?

Anyone take pics of the grease removal/repacking process? I am thinking about getting one of the HF polishers this weekend. Just want to be prepared for it. Thanks

Have you looked at the ceramic tints? They are more expensive vs regular dark tint. But they block out more infrared heat. Your car stays cooler without having to use real dark tint. As for a protection, I've been happy with Meguiar's Protectant Natural Shine.

Mike, what Auto Geek products do you recommend to polish/clean a DD? I asked because some polishing/cleaning products have more cut than others. Both my vehicles are well taken care of, but I'd like something to just clean the paint before waxing/sealing. Thanks in advance!
