Would Purple Clay lighter than color sand

I think the tree sap mist has etched to the clear coat. It flat now but many mist looking dots are still there. I am thinking to get purple clay; i already used grey clay. Thanks I upload pics in my photos gallery

Hot baked tree sap white dots

Tried grey clay bar, did not do a thing. WD40, wont help. Thinking to get a purple clay bar, anyone tried a purple one and successfully removed the hard baked white dots from tree saps? How deep can a purple one can cut; or color sand is a must? Thanks
