    Anyone tried the Brush Hero?

I saw this and thought it looked interesting. It's on sale today as part of a made up holiday for a certain website named after a certain rain forest, but I wanted to get the Autogeek community seal of approval before making the purchase. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Brush Hero Ultimate...

Nice job man, glad you got it together! How did it work for you? Did you call GritGuard to get the insert? Edit: Nice splash guard!

    Seeking Advice: Household Microfiber Maintenance

I know this isn't auto-detailing-related, but no one knows microfiber like you guys! So I recently bought two new products to make cleaning my new place a bit easier. Both of these were appealing because they have reusable microfiber pads, rather than disposable pads, which get expensive. OXO...

    DIY Pad Washer

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't get to put the instructions together this past weekend. I've had some serious stuff going on, and I'm not sure when I'll get to it, but I will as soon as I get the chance.

    DIY Pad Washer

Yeah, I am going to make an update. I'll try to get it done this weekend, just need to take some new pictures and put it all together. If you need yours sooner, I can try to give you a brief description/list of different parts, just let me know.

    DIY Pad Washer

This^ The instructions for the "official" pad washer still work perfectly for this one. There is also a really useful list of pad cleaning tips on the product page in the AG store, or I pasted them below, with the filling part in bold. The only thing I would add to the instructions, for the...

Cool man, glad to hear it! And yeah I think I get what you're saying, but would need to see pics lol.

It shouldn't make any difference. Plus, you don't want to spray a ton of water, then the pads will take forever to dry... an issue I'm still working on...

    DIY Pad Washer

Yeah, that's a giant PITA. The cutting wheel wouldn't get into the corners, and I was too cheap to buy the cutting bit (the thing that looks like a drill bit), so I used a box cutter. I'm surprised I didn't seriously hurt myself. Ok, so I got your private message. I'm not entirely sure what...

    DIY Pad Washer

Lol, was it this one? I busted out the side of this thing trying to fit a Grit Guard. Yeah, I had to sand the corners as well. You should try the fittings at Home Depot. They vary by region, but the HDs here changed some of their fittings. The tees are now about a quarter inch shorter, which...

I ordered one from them too, but I don't think I ever posted that here. I haven't used it yet. They also sell the splash guard separately for $15. I picked one of those up just to compare to the homemade version, and I actually like mine better.

Nice job! Did you add that handle? The Home Depot buckets in my area just have basic plastic handles.

Some stores here will stock the smaller PVC on the next aisle. Have you talked to an employee? They might be able to tell you where you can buy smaller stuff if they don't have it. This stuff is used in homes all the time, so I can't imagine it's just not available where you're at.
