    Opti-coat topped with BlackFire?

This thread is my personal experience... http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/77636-pictures-blackice-over-opti-coat-light-colored-car.html I did not find any benefit except for additional static charge and thus more dust accumulation.

    opti-coat on plastic (textured)

You certainly can. However, just keep in mind that there is a possibility of it turning whitish in spots. And then getting it off is near impossible. On black plastic, I would keep to something like Wolfgang.

Question - opticoat after 2 Years

You can clay. Polishing will most likely remove the coating.

Each state will have a variety of rules that differ. Each state will also vary on how they handle violations of their statutes by vehicles registered in other states. It is very possible to live in one state and abide by their laws to only be in violation of another state's laws. There is NO...

Armor All Wheel Protectant - Dust Free? Pictures!

I just wanted to follow-up on this thread to confirm that the product does not last following a wash. So this is a use-after-every-wash kind of product. But with the limitations in mind, it can be a very useful product for personal use when switching to a low dusting pad is not an option...

Armor All Wheel Protectant - Dust Free? Pictures!

Well, the diamond wheel coating advertises that it "eliminates" brake dust buildup which opti-coat does not do. But I am guessing it simply makes it easier to clean only, similar to opti-coat.

I saw that - Thanks. Based on some reviews it might keep things a little cleaner. I wish someone had a follow-up review of Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Wheel Coating

Armor All Wheel Protectant - Dust Free? Pictures!

Ugh, I forgot I cannot edit my original post here! Anyway, this will be my last set of pictures - I think the concept has been proven. I will update later though to confirm that the product is only good between washings. Untreated Side Treated Side Other End At this moment...

Armor All Wheel Protectant - Dust Free? Pictures!

I have no doubt. For the moment though, ceramic pads are not an option as there are none available yet for my model. Until then, this works pretty well keeping them at least cleaner looking between washing.

New pads would certainly be a solution. However, Opti-Coat does very little in preventing dust - Actually, I don't think it does a thing in that regard. Easier to clean certainly but that is not my goal. My goal is to not have a wheel coated in grime after 60 miles.

Ok, so I was at Advance Auto for another purpose and I always glance at the car care isle when visiting these places. I saw this stuff for $15 and thought I would give it a shot. Anyone that has owned, detailed, or even briefly looked at a german auto has seen the brake dust they spew...
