New steamer to speed up cleaning

Correct, I do like to spray the steam on the panel a bit first to wet it a bit, dry towel + dirt + paint = no good. Then I spray "into" the towel as I go. I'll do an interior video soon. That's by far my favorite part with this machine. Well, that and when it removes things off of the paint...

New steamer to speed up cleaning

Quick video of bird poop removal with the Optima Steamer. My car was sitting outside for an entire week undriven since I was out of the country, no idea how long that was on there for but it was pretty dried up and stuck. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Uq8lLgnDc4&feature=youtu.be

    Preview of todays job

That's where this machine is different than others, you can control the moisture/humidity level so on a visibly dirty car you turn it up so you have a more "wet" steam and so more lubrication for the microfiber towel. Even with doing that I used about 7 gallon of water total on that entire SUV...

What are you going to detail this weekend?

This weekend I have scheduled a 2014 BMW 328i M Sport (Going from dealership straight to me) for swirl removal (we know it'll have some, it's blue) and sealant. Then a Toyota 4Runner for full detail, swirl removal and sealant application (expect it to be an 8 hour job or so)

New steamer to speed up cleaning

I use the steamer to loosen up the dirt and the shopvac to remove it. It doesn't blow things all over the place like you would think (if you use it properly) Floor mats and such I do outside of the vehicle so I can be less careful with the angles I use because dirt blowing around at that point...

New steamer to speed up cleaning

Just sent this pic to AeroCleanse but figured I'd share with the rest of you also Keep in mind I don't have the extractor attachment, so I just steam an area and then vacuum it up. This pic was taken before any vacuuming took place. It's a very impressive machine for sure.
