I stopped using traditional blinker fluid altogether; even the synthetic brands. Megs D114 works better. Not only do I already have it on hand, it keeps the blinkers cleaner as well. Just don't believe you-know-who when he says his Infinite Use Detail Juice also works, because it doesn't.

With the Absorber, it's probably best to blot only and not wipe. I use Cobra Guzzler Waffle Weaves and they're good, but probably not "the best." I've heard good things about the Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy.

I haven't used either, but if I did, I would only use a sponge for the traditional two bucket wash. For rinseless, I prefer the Gary Dean method using lots of microfiber towels.

I agree. You can get the HF for what, $45-50 on sale? While I am sure the Megs unit works fine, it would be harder to use and take more time because it's less ergonomic than a true DA and it has a much small pad.

Is it necessary? Considering that the product didn't exist however many years ago, and detailers make paint shiny back then, I'd say no. However, now that it does exist, it's just one more product that can be used to perfect/protect a vehicle's paint.
