Pads? CG hex or Lake Country.

I didn’t mark the pads. Is it merely a sharpie and a few tick marks on the side? I’m using the new TW hybrid polish and wax. I do like it quite a bit but think with the pad marking and the right pad, I might get the results I’m looking for. I did try some megs ultimate polish after thinking...

Pads? CG hex or Lake Country.

Thanks mike I will check out the video. Already been thru some of your detailers library post and they has helped me to not overly obsess over some this quest to ultimate perfection and reality. It’s not bad right now by any means, I am my own worst critic and I look very closely to find...

Pads? CG hex or Lake Country.

As someone new trying my hand at paint correction...it didn’t go as good as I expected. First I started very conservative white pad bundled with my griots da kit and a one step. Didn’t do much in the wake of correction of scratches and swirls. Car is white is it is a pain to really see...

Ready to Paint Correct my Tesla

Ok, so I have washed and clayed, now I am ready to correct. Paint is not very bad but needs to get some of the very fine spider web swirls, they are hard to see but they are there. Once again, very faint. I have some BF One-Step and a Griots DA polisher to work with. My question is what pads...

Cleaning your microfiber towels after use?

I would imagine dawn would work as well...gentle and cuts grease pretty well without being too strong. Would need to rinse the hell out of the rags prior as that could be a HE washing machine nightmare.

Cleaning your microfiber towels after use?

So I need to clean a great number of microfiber towels. I have Costco free/clear laundry detergent which clean ok but not heavily soiled towels. I have a number of microfibers that are badly soiled...sooo can I add Oxy Clean or Borax to this as a booster or is that bad to do? What do you...

    Best winter snow brush?

With you but hard to keep a leaf blower in the back of your car...not practical if your out away from home, at work or what not. Plus most of these folks have a garage so they only get snow covered at work.

    Best winter snow brush?

Bristles are too coarse and I need a better one as well.

    Best winter snow brush?

People constantly ask me what is the safest snow brush that won’t scratch your paint? This one is a tough one for me to answer.

Video: Review of the NEW Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating (Hybrid Solutions) !!

Might have found my new winter protection!!! SnS is good for Summer, but my ride after this last snow really looked like hell and so much stuck to the finish. It was easy to wash off but I think the ceramic is the key to a good winter protection. Salt, Oil, Road Grime, Dirt, Tar, and Tranny...

    One-Step Polish/Wax

Thanks everyone. Received a bottle of BF one step but need to wait for spring since we have had snow now 3x. I have been washing in the cold with 2 bucket and topping with TW SnS for now. Once I do the BF this spring PNS will be the new route. For winter washing I have my bro company that has...

    Winter prep and protection?

Mark how hard is it to do ceramic? And which one do you like. I have a mountain of "Great" waxes and sealant but would trade them for something that last and looks good all the time. Whats the downfall to ceramic?

    Winter prep and protection?

I hear that 476 is not good to use on Soft Paint finishes and tough to work with. Marring is typically according to many in regards to soft finishes. I would shy away from it if I was to put it on my tesla...anything else...maybe. I am not sure how Hi-Temp/FK1000P, Seems like PNS might me...
