    Preserving New Car Smell?!?!

The Little Trees New Car Scent air freshener is the closest thing I've found. You have to be careful though as a little of that goes a long ways in my experience. Don't rip open the package and hang the whole tree as it will be pretty strong. I cut open a sliver of the package and ease a little...

    Favorite new(ish) spray wax?

No no - keep the suggestions coming! I'm sure I'll be buying more in the near future regardless. Cheers!

    Favorite new(ish) spray wax?

Thanks everyone - I've currently got the new Ultima wax and the Blackfire Midnight Sun in my cart (20% off with the current discount) - that might do it. I've got some collinite 845 in my cabinet - may try to put some in a spray bottle and try it as a spritz too!

    Favorite new(ish) spray wax?

I'm a bit of a spray-wax fan and have a few that I like - AquaWax, Pinnacle Souveran, Optimum Spray Wax, Mothers Reflections. I been feeling the need lately (since the wife bought a new car) to donate some $$ to AutoGeek - what's something new/different that I should try? Thanks!

    Stacking Collinite 845

I'm using my PC7424 so I'm fairly certain I can get 100% coverage with one application. Thanks - that jives with what I've seen in other forums. I think I'll roll with one layer and see how she holds up over the Winter.

    Stacking Collinite 845

Hi All, I'm putting some 845 on my car this weekend to get her ready for the Winter. Wondering how much (if any) benefit I would get from applying one layer of 845, letting the car sit for a day, then putting another layer on? In other words - how much (if you can quantify) extra protection...

Apply Wet Diamond without proper prep

Thanks much - very helpful. I just don't have the time to clay/polish right now (I always feel like I have to polish after a go round with the clay) but I like the idea of a quick wipe down after the citus wash red (which is supposed to do a decent job of cleaning off old layers of sealant/wax...

Apply Wet Diamond without proper prep

Good Morning, I'm curious - how much protection will I lose if I simply give my car a good washing with a strong solution of Chemical Guys Citrus Wash then apply Wet Diamond without any further prep? What say you?

Paint Correction issues after my first attempt...

One thing to think about as well is you should determine how good "good enough" is for you. If this is a show car then a mirror finish is goal to aim for. For a daily driver that's a few years old I would think aiming for a mirror finish may be taking things a bit too far given that in a few...

    Vacuum advice

Amen my brother. The crevice tool is the King Schiznit! I've got the Ridgid WD1270 and it's a total beast with the detail kit.

    Vacuum advice

I've got a Ridgid Shop Vac and bought this accessory kit - it's a little pricey for what you get but the hose is sooooooo easy to work with and the attachments are quite functional. RIDGID Premium Car Cleaning Kit-VT2534 - The Home Depot

    Spray Wax in cold temps

Aye - ONRWW has wax and it's likely a little repetitive to follow with more but that's how I roll!

    Spray Wax in cold temps

Thanks gents! Given that the car is white I can deal with a little streaking (happens with Optimum W&W sometimes) - I may order some and give it a try.

    Spray Wax in cold temps

I'm a big Aquawax fan (use while drying car or after the car has been dried) but one of the motivating forces for me to clean the car in the Winter months is to try new products. As such I was looking at Optimum Car wax and upon further reading I saw this blurb: Conditions to avoid: Auto...

What's the one "fun" product or tool I should buy

Okay then - I've got a Metro Sidekick on order due for delivery on Wednesday! Going to clean my wife's floor mats next weekend and will put it to good use!

What's the one "fun" product or tool I should buy

I have a serious drip problem with the back of my car in the tail lights and also the side mirrors. This may be great to blow the water out of all the crevices (I don't mind having to catch it with a towel) rather than having to go back to the same spot 4 or 5 times to wipe up drips. That said...
