Help with brown spots on my white paint!

I am going to try other brands of iron/fall out remover and let it dwell much longer and see what happens. If a longer dwelling time of other iron removers doesn't touch those spots, then those aren't rust spots, most likely artillery fungus. Perhaps my final resort would be wet sanding that...

Help with brown spots on my white paint!

My white car has around 4000 miles and is protected with Adam's graphene spray coating and properly maintained. Today I discovered 4, yes, 4 brown dots on the car. 3 are on the Xpel PPF and 1 on the bare paint. The 3 on the PPF don't have a demarcated border like the one on the paint surface...

DA Glass Correction (scratch removal) with CarPro

Awesome thread. Does anyone know if using CarPro system on a rotary can produce the same swirl-free result as well?

    Glass sealant help!

Wipers worked fine without the coatings. I have been putting glass coatings on my cars for the last 15 years because it does improve the visibility dramatically - rain/water just rolls off the glass so much faster. Unfortunately the water doesn't bead off until you hit 30-40 mph so wipers are...

    Glass sealant help!

Thanks, I also looked at PIAA blades but couldn't find one available for my car. Those may actually solve my problem I think.

    Glass sealant help!

Came back home, sprayed some Opti-glass onto a small coating cloth and wiped the blades. It actually made the chatter way worse than before to the point I thought I was going to be breaking something. During wiping the blades with Opti-glass I noticed that tiny little chunks of the rubber...

    Glass sealant help!

Yes, the Opti-Glass is still on the windshield now. Have you experienced the same and wiping opti-glass would cure the chatter?

    Glass sealant help!

Been struggling with the wiper blades chattering/skipping after trying out many products... Here is the story: Just got a new 2021 car a couple of months ago and decided to put Aquapel on the glass areas, as I have been using Aquapel for many many years with no issues of wiper skipping on my...

    Spray bottle thread size?

Hi all, does anyone know if the regular spray bottle top thread is 22mm? If so, does anyone know where I can find a quick disconnect mechanism like the male/female water hose quick disconnect? Thanks!

    Carbon fiber defect?

Adhesive from the prepeg carbon fiber? Anyway I wet sanded the area with 800 grit to 2500 and the cloudiness is certainly gone. But from a certain angle one can still see a faint discrepancy of the depth of the clear coat.

    Carbon fiber defect?

Can anyone tell me what I am looking at? The cloudiness is not on the surface of the clear coat at all. This carbon fiber piece was made using the prepeg dry carbon method and subsequently clear coated. The defect is only visible under certain lightening and is not seen when the light source...

    Are those water spots?

It was definitely rain, and not municipal water as the car is fully garaged unless driven. The paint is not Brilliant Black, it's a special Piano Black on the rear of the R8 V10's. Yes, during washing the water was still beading like crazy so not sure what happened. But I just ordered CarPro...

    Are those water spots?

Thanks. Yeah there are some marring and swirls as the piano black paint on this car is extremely soft and anything would scratch it. Last time I paint corrected the rear was last Oct and it just surprises me that Cquartz would fail this fast. BTW, Cquartz UK was applied after using Essence.

    Are those water spots?

Thanks Jim. I would like to add that the rear of the car gets extremely hot during drives so perhaps Cquartz won't last as long? Yes I do use Reload and Ech2o on a regular basis so keep the car in a pristine condition. Prior to washing the car, Trix was applied to the full rear of the car...

    Are those water spots?

I don't normally drive this particular car in the rain but a couple of days ago it started raining pretty hard when I was out. I finally got a chance to wash my car today and have discovered what appears to be water spots but they are not. The rear of the car was completely coated with CarPro...

    Gyeon Mohs really sucks (photo)

It seems like with additional coats you are also noticing a change in surface gloss and possible static buildup. The panel I was working on is piano black. Meaning, it's the black of black with nothing else in it. So, it was very easy for me to see a change in gloss after layering Mohs. I...

    Gyeon Mohs really sucks (photo)

How many layers of Mohs did you apply? It's interesting that your experience is completely opposite than mine when my environment might actually be better than yours. So perhaps Mohs likes higher temp and humidity?

Thanks for the link. It really reminds me of my college chemistry a long time ago, lol.
