A DG weekend plan of attack; thoughts?

Thanks for the input. If yours is holing up under those conditions, I should be golden since mine sits in a garage @ home and a covered parking garage 5 days/week. I'll look at reapplying in the spring.

Happy Labor Day weekend everyone  I’ve got a plan for my car next weekend (based on endless research here) and wanted the DG gurus to chime in if my plan sounds like a good approach. My First Full Detail...

Well, I lied... it's not my first. Actually practiced on my daughter's 12yr old Altima a few weeks back. Anyway, I've been researching products on here for the past month and decided to go with the Megs Ultimate line. Here's the product list along with a few pics. Looks like it's wet in person...

Noob to Detailing (new and old cars)

Thanks for the additional info. Now you have me looking at the GG6...:o so maybe I'll get a GG6 and add the other products in. I've read that some use 5.5" pads for compound and sealant and then a 6.5" for LSP. Think I'll be good with just the 6.5"? I take it I'll go through at least 3 pads...

Remove baked on crud from tailpipe tips?

Ha, my first post.... I just use Eagle One Never Dull wadding polish. Takes the carbon deposits off the tips of the wife's Audi (2.0T) and removes any attached road debris. If you stay on top of it, it comes right off. If you let it marinate for a few months, It'll take some effort. :dblthumb2:
