Hi, I just moved to Savannah from St. Louis, MO and I'm looking for a high end detailer for occasional hand washes and possibly other little things. Car is coated with Cquartz Finest so it must be someone experienced with coatings. I'm really, really picky. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

I take waterless wash and do a quick spritz and pat down when I get there. Make sure to take nice towels for paint and old ones for your wheels/wheel wells. Don't forget to touch up your exhaust tip!
We drove almost two hours to a show on Sat and I won my class. :-)

Women, however, are less likely to cause terrible crashes because they overestimated their driving ability or were street racing. There's a reason young guys are the most expensive to insure.
As someone who shows her car, I can tell you that most people don't want to hear it if you just approach them. HOWEVER, I've given out a lot of business cards for my detailer because my car has so much gloss compared to every other car there. I also mention I don't have to wax it (coating) and...
Just in general, it's very difficult to approach strangers and tell them tactfully they are doing something wrong. It's very EASY to do it in a way that alienates someone. IME it's better to let people come to you and ask what you are doing once they see the results. I take my car to a lot of...
Make sure you use a Sno Brum or something that doesn't have hard bristles. I had one this winter and had very little marring.
For info on coatings, I would recommend doing a Google search for "Autogeek forum" and "coatings." There's a TON of info to be had. A coating is a more permanent paint...
In looking at your other thread, you put plastic over the car at some point in your process. Could it have rested against the finish in that spot? I am not an expert--just throwing out an idea. :)
I've done the flashlight at night thing before, but usually to clean bugs off the bumper so they don't dry into glue. I hate driving home at night in the summer!!!
I'll be worried if someone that was on that plane turns up sick. I can't believe they closed schools down in Cincinnati because someone on an entirely different flight worked there.
We DO need to get things under control at the source, though--I'm glad we are sending more aid to West Africa.
There's no cure for ANY virus--just supportive care. And even in third world countries people survive Ebola. With proper care, you are likely to survive.
I think it's important to remember the mortality rates we are seeing are MUCH lower when the patients receive proper, modern treatment. It's still a serious disease, but it's just not as deadly for a patient with access to first world level care.
I moved the opposite way--SC to MO--and I remember being told to buy a snow brush. I had no idea what that was or what I should be trying to find. :) Enjoy your new weather!
Is asking for them to use a certain wrench something that will label you a difficult customer? Sounds like a good idea, but I have all work done at the dealership and I want to stay on their good side for easy warranty repairs!
OP, good luck getting everything settled to your satisfaction.
I'm by no means an expert, but I have this problem a lot from my radar detector mount. They call it a "sticky cup" and it leaves a nasty residue. I've had good luck getting it cleaned off before a show with Invisible Glass, a terry cloth towel, and elbow grease. I haven't had a problem with it...
