Good Wheel cleaner that can be used on hot surfaces?

I live in an apartment so I usually drive to a coin-operated self wash to clean the wheels. I bought some Sonax but didn't read the directions until I received the product. So today I tried to spray some Powerclean on them but it dried up pretty fast and so I wasn't able to effectively remove...

    ONR big red sponge

No, I live in an apartment hence the reason I am using a rinseless. I could drive 20 mins to a self wash bay and hose most of the dirt off and drive home and do it. But then I might as well do a traditional wash while I am there. Also I would have to wait until the car cools down before ONR.

    ONR big red sponge

OK thanks guys. The grit guard, are you supposed to rub the sponge against it? Today I washed with the BRS and one bucket. When I went to dry off with the waffle weave, it still had dirt on it.

    ONR big red sponge

Well, the reason i'm interested in it is because of the convenience. Seems like it would be quicker than using towels. I'm just worried about when you wring out the sponge in the bucket, the dirt will contaminate the solution which could re-introduce it to the sponge.

    ONR big red sponge

When using this, it seems most use just one bucket. How do you keep the sponge from getting too dirty? What's the method? I've been using microfiber towels but the sponge seems easier.

Optimum Power Clean as a spray wash?

I already have ONR and UWW. I want a wash I can spray on that doesn't require a bucket and that I can rinse off with water.

Optimum Power Clean as a spray wash?

Can this be used as a spray wash or do I need to follow up with an actual car wash? Are there any wash products out there I can spray on and rinse off? I live in an apartment and take my car to the self service car wash so I want something that can get the job done in the least amount of time.

Dirty car has been sitting in cold for a month...best way to wash?

I actually found a touchless not too far away. Im gonna use a high pressure hose at the coin-op first before going through touchless. I just hope the streets arent too bad for the drive home.

Dirty car has been sitting in cold for a month...best way to wash?

The only problem with touchless is i'm afraid the guys will scratch my car using dirty towels while drying, also not sure what cleaning solutions they use. Yeah, I could do ONR rinseless instead of UWW. Good idea.

Dirty car has been sitting in cold for a month...best way to wash?

Hey guys, The weather this winter in the northeast has been horrible to say the least. About a month ago, I took a road trip on wet, dirty slush (post snow storm) roads. When I came home my car was very dirty with road grime, snow, dirt, salt, etc. It has been so cold out and continuously...

    Poorboy's SSR2.5 by hand?

I have some imperfections and scratches on the front bumper and I tried getting them out with a clay bar and poorboy's professional polish. I guess the next step up would be something with a little more cut like ssr2.5. Can I use this effectively by hand? I live in an apartment so no power...

Does it matter what sponge applicator to use?

Thanks Tato. I already bought the Chemical Guys microfiber applicators. I was just wondering if these are sufficient or if I need something with "cut" when applying the polish to correct the paint better.

How to get rid of scratches/imperfections on front bumper?

I previously tried Poorboy's black hole but since that's more of a glaze it didn't work. Before I jump to M101 or M105, I was thinking of going with a more conservative correction with less cut. Has anyone used poorboy's professional polish with any success? If that doesn't work then I will...

How to get rid of scratches/imperfections on front bumper?

My front bumper is the area with the most imperfections for obvious reasons. But it stands out even more since its a black car. Anyone know what level of paint correction I would need to get rid of these? They seem to be embedded because if I run my fingers across it's smooth. Obviously the...
