So yeah, I 915'd my washing machine

I know Im not the only one that waxes/seals their appliances, especially items like refrigerators and others that are in public areas. Unfortunately for me though, my washing machine is also in a viewable area. So I took delivery of a new washer the other day, one with a shiny see through black...

    Hoser

Id love to find a durable one too, but I just end up replacing it every year. Ive tried both expensive ones and cheap ones but they always end up leaking or otherwise not working right the next year. I remove them from the hose and keep them inside for the winter, but something always seems to...

    Car wash in the dark

I'm guilty of washing my car in the dark. But I had detailed it only a day previous and just got back from a late night drive on our wonderful parkway. What was I going to do, leave the bugs on it? As if! ;) I even broke out the flashlight afterwards to make sure I go it clean

    Tree Sap

Isopropyl alcohol dissolves sap, no matter how old or bad it is. It is harsh though, use a soft cloth and only dab it lightly. Maybe even cotton swab it. But once its gone you must protect the surface again as the alcohol will eat away everything, which the sap had likely done anyway...

    Anti-fog strategy?

Yeah recirculate is likely the culprit then, all it does it recirculate stale warm air, which leads to instant fog. Made much worse if youre a smoker. Give them a good cleaning and set the vent to fresh air and youre set!

    Choosing the foam gun

Probably a stupid question, but do the hose powered ones work as well as the pressure washer powered ones? Id hate to wheel out and setup my pressure washer every time I want to wash my car.

    Anti-fog strategy?

Make sure your vent isnt set to recirculate. And as said earlier, dont use any paint care products on the inside of glass (spray wax, etc...). Ive always used balled up newspaper with Windex or other real glass cleaner, never fogs that way. Some older cars with HUDs may have a special coating...

Remove old sealant before using another?

Hi all, A couple weeks ago I did my whole car in BFCS. Last week I took some water spots out of the hood and reapplied BFCS to the hood after. Now I love trying other products and the weekend after this I want to try Menzerna PL and see if I get better results. Bright white paint, I wont be...

    Help with hard water stains

Oh Ive read all the articles already and theres lots a different answers/methods. Also, Ive removed plenty of water spots in the past as a detailer, but I was specifically interested in a solution that I could use with my Gem polisher. (or better yet no machine at all!) My main concern being...
