Greetings,
Going with this cannon washer and have a question. On the product page they list under additional item 6-pack of metering tips. Are these replacement tips for what's included or are they truly additional. I'll be using a gas powered mid-level Robi.
TIA
I just saw for a title "My First Triple Coat! (With Finest)". I searched the site for "Finest" with no help. Which makes sense because the CQuartz page doesn't use the word "finest".
Never the less a great thread. I'll refer to it often.:xyxthumbs:
OP
So.... what did you put on a triple coat of???
I'm assuming something from Optimum Polymer Technologies. Possibly a coating - but I'm under the impression the 3x of a coating would be a waste.
TIA
Not really. I just misspoke.
My point is given the premise of only ordering six pads I think that it best to have two sets of three pads. As long as the product is matched with the proper pad, it will finish LSP ready.
Regardless of my over applying product (Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0) on...
Sorry, I should of said:
Admittedly with machine application of sealant I must use too much.
Again my main point was if he only wants 6 pads and is using a two step polishing routine, I'd go with 3x2 and put the sealant on by hand.
As for polishes I prime and use the 2/3 - 3/4 circle method.
I think when people ask for pad recommendations that it would help to know what condition their car is in and future projects. I plan on doing a lot of cars that were never cleaned/washed properly so I might be a little heavy on the cutting pads. I have also found that they load with with spent...
I think it looks good for a beginner. White of course. Still not sealed yet.
It still has some RIDS that I didn't want to go after. First time using wool and the flex. I did get rid of some swirls and what I assume were water marks. They were small pits. So I was happy.
I has used the PC 7424 and
Sorry but I have to ask. Can you use an extender on a DA? I imagine that the longer the extension the harder it would be to control.
I'm thinking door jams. But they rarely need correction so hand applications should be sufficient.
Hi all,
So if you clay (if needed) and polish to get rid of defects that you won't need a cleaner before sealing/waxing?
But when doing research on the difference between SF400 & SF4000 that SF4500 left oils (or something) that would need to be removed.
So I'm curious about a scenario...
