    Question about what to use to clean coilovers shocks

    Hello, i got a spare set of shock /coilover , just wondering what would be the best products to clean them up ? i m assuming APC or wheel& brake cleaner to clean and maybe some spray on wax to protect, that sound about right? probably have to leave it in the sun to dry a bit to avoid rust...

    bumping an old thread, so if you simply reapply another coat after it's lost its hydrophobic property after n years, it wont properly bond? (i think the answer is yes based on what i read in this post so far but just want some confirmation)
