Review & How-To: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax

I get the same thing. I love ONRWW for use around the house. Works great as a floor cleaner / wax....and I like the smell but if I use too much it does give me a headache and make me nauseous. I need to try it in a much more diluted form and see if that helps. This is really my only knock on...

    Pricing question?

Don't listen to these guys. Your pricing is good now. Maybe a little high. When can I drop my clients' cars off?

    which wax?

I would go with Colli 476S on the white car. It has less oils in it and doesn't darken as much as the 845. I would use the 845 on the red. Darker and wetter look. Put a spray cap on the 845. It is my favorite spray wax.

Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax

If 845 is hard to buff off, then you are using it wrong. Possibly / probably using too much. Even when laid too thick 845 is still very forgiving. Lay down too much 476s or 915 and you are in for a real bad day. Actually 476s taught me a lot about using the proper amounts - it comes off just...

    New Optimum Polisher

:iagree: The first thing that people need to get unbutthurt about is that this isn't a knock off. Mechanically aside from the 21mm throw, it is completely different. Counter balance is different. Motor is different. Wiring is different. Looks wise it is close but subtly different. Personally...

OCP vs 4 layers of Gloss-Coat

People claim that layering absolutely increases longevity. How many threads are there on layering KSG x 6, 2 layers of 476s for the winter, souverin layered with a sealant or stronger wax on top, etc, etc..... Why would a coating not benefit from layering when everything else does?

    Wash & wax package ?s

This is going to sound crazy but my preferred way of applying 845 is with a folded buffing cloth. Prime with one spray, one spray on the panel, and apply from there. This way I have 1 item in each hand and I can go around the vehicle in one motion with no stops or pauses. Once it is dry enough...

    Wash & wax package ?s

Another vote for 845! 476s has great filling capabilities where there the 845 is very thin with almost no filling. 845 is on and off very fast. The other upside to Collinite, especially the 476s, is the beading is extreme, almost unique in appearance to this brand, which will be visually...

Which sealant is the "brightest" or most reflective?

Finish Kare 1000P is very bright & reflective. Lasts a long time too.

coatings useless or fantastic? what do you think??

In an elevator with X number of people farting - this is a breath of fresh air. Thank you. One question. I've got a $3 bottle of Nu-Finish "The Once a Year Car Polish", and a garage. How long can I expect it to last under *ideal* conditions? Edit: just to be clear, I am not promoting...

OCP vs 4 layers of Gloss-Coat

Kinda got to wondering. One properly administered layer of Gloss-Coat is good for 2 years. 5cc can cover one car when used with the right applicator. AGO has 20cc for $99. You with me so far? At 2 years per coat, if you used the full bottle and laid down 4 coats, I wouldn't expect a full 8...

    Retailing noob

I've been a long time lurker (just chucked my old can of Pizazz). Off and on weekend detailer. Collinite junkie. Recently working with an automotive parts and accessories store on acquiring / retailing a small "pro" line of detailing equipment: polishers, pads, abrasives, etc...
