I have the same issue (embedded spots) and would like to try something other than regular wheel cleaner before they become completely etched into the wheels

Wouldn't spots still show through Dlux? Problem is, they are not quite smooth to the touch. Maybe a finishing polish would do the trick.

Ok, I thought I'd ask for an expert's advice on this. The vehicle is only 2 years old, yet already shows spots on the lower window trim. It seems to be a common problem on these rubber mouldings, but I haven't found any common tips on this, just opinions. The spots seem to be above surface...

A new member as such, but this has been a good resource for me for quite a while. I simply own a vehicle I love, that I take care of the best I can. Same thing before with racing bicycles, those damn things need to be detailed as well, in fact I did that for a living. I pay almost over the top...
