What I get from "wash induced marring" is one of the following; There isn't enough product to produce lubricity for the mitt/sponge. The mitt/sponge has contaminants (not sure how many people wash their mitts/sponges but personally feel it's a good idea). And last but not least, possibly too...

I think you are probably right. I was researching another product that I ordered(well, the mix of Reload and Ech2O) and think I got confused, doh! More on that later when it arrives!

I second this. CarPro essence has an amazing gloss enhancer in it! If you can get away with just "light" polishing, Essence is the answer every time in my opinion. It doesn't dust (with proper pad useage of course) and literally melts into the finish when wiping off. They say it can be used as...

Wolfgang Uber Compound followed by 2 coats of Wolfgang DGPS 2007 4Runner, Shadow Mica with 260k miles :cool: She still cleans up well! Went "off-roading" through the desert and some bushes did this the whole car for reference..

HD Speed is an AIO. Compound, Polish, and Sealant. I too use the Rupes Green Pad with excellent results.

Was the issue with the thin or thick pads? Been using a Cyan thick pad a lot (and love it!) and haven't noticed any issues. Bought mine in December.

builthatch: Not to start an argument, but why can the Stoners use the same paper towels and come out perfect? Just different chemicals?

Not to defend Opti-Glass since I haven't used it, but have you tried diluting it a bit more? I know it's says a gallon, but from my experience with other window products is if you dilute it a little more then it should streak less. Great review and Stoners looks like an excellent buy...
