They will be using the LS3 for the new "SS" Vette. The LS7 won't like all that supercharging much with it's bored to hell cylinder walls. An LS3 would also be more like 378 CI, not 420. 420 CI is basically 7 liters(LS7), so I don't imagine the new SS vette being more than 400 CI either(if that)...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is because the plastic of the bag will only catch on ANYTHING that is protruding from the paint, and not the paint itself. So you only feel the contaminants through the bag, and not the paint itself as you normally would. Alex
