We've lost a legend - Stephen Hawking dead at 76

I was simply pointing out something from the very book that christianity is based on. Denying God (and even worse, influencing others to believe the same) is a very egregious error. (Mark 3:28-30) Being a very spiritual person, I have always been bothered by Stephen Hawking because he was...

We've lost a legend - Stephen Hawking dead at 76

and don't forget Matthew 10:33 Yeah, I don't see the pearly gates opening up for someone who spent a great deal of time telling others that they don't exist.

1966 AC 427 Cobra - Detailed by Ed Dedick - American Muscle Car Museum

I didn't realize those cars are so rare. I see them pretty regularly around Elkhart Lake (Road America) every summer. And yes, the real deals. One of my favorite cars of all time.

Where to sell your detailing equiment on this forum?

There is no For Sale section here because this forum is sponsored by a business that sells detailing supplies and equipment. Sort of a conflict of interest for them to promote private sales.

How to remind customers to pay for a detail.

I agree that this is most likely a husband/wife scam team. There really are people out there who think nothing of (or even brag about) cheating someone out of hard earned money. If they still don't pay in full, the next step would be a certified letter with a copy of anything they signed and...

    What Was Your First Car?

My first actual car purchase was a 1979 Chevy Monza, very much like this... I was a senior in college (1987) with a part-time job earning just above minimum wage ($4 an hour). The car was previously owned by a guy who was subletting my roommate's room for the summer. He just bought a Mazda...

How to remind customers to pay for a detail.

Send a note to the owner asking if they're happy with the service and that if they aren't, you will gladly return the paint to their carpet.

Help with a door ding in a new car..

That doesn't look like paint transfer to me, but it's hard to tell from the low resolution photos. If you run your fingernail across it, do you catch an edge?

    Rupes system and Wolfang DGPS

WG DGPS application is completely independent from the Rupes system polishes, so don't worry about compatibility. Basically, Rupes has their system that combines their machines, pads and polishing compounds in order to get the best paint correction possible. The DGPS is what you put on the car...

Need Some Help Picking My First DA Pads

Some people like the CCS pads but I would never use them. I don't like the idea of the dimples collecting product and distributing it unevenly. I'd want completely even pad surfaces for the most consistent results.

    Heated garages... bad for cars?

I recently had a conversation with a coworker wherein he told me that heated garages are really bad for cars that see a lot of snow. The problem being that the cars accumulate a lot of road salt along with the snow and ice. When they get parked in a heated garage, the snow/ice melts and wets the...

How do you tell if wax is gone ?

In the OP's defense, I don't remember this question being asked very often. The question isn't a basic matter of beading (with sealant/wax) versus sheeting action (with no protection). It's more complex because we're talking about two separate layers of product with different lifetimes. We all...
