My OZ wheels are stated as matte but more like a satin finish and I recently did a simple wipe down with Opti Seal. My car produces mad quantity of brake dust and the OS has definitely helped at clean-up. It did add an ever so slight amount of sheen to the finish but nothing all that noticeable.

My new plan is to clean my wheels, drive around to reduce water and rust on rotors (rust forms ridiculously quick on my rotors), then cover them up with bags before washing the rest of the car.

Just read the reviews of Hyde's product and a couple guys mentioned not a great choice for drilled rotors, I have um. Hmmm...

I know we all come across this so wanted to hear how you guys do it. By the time I’m done washing, my brake rotors are rusted-up pretty bad and soon as I drive the rust gets caked inside the barrel and spokes of my wheel, looks horrible. Other than removing the rust with a MF towel is there...

Thanks for all your help guys! I think gives me other products to try and find something I truly like. So far, WDGPS is my choice for sealant.

I guess what I'm after is something to maintain the existing sealant base coat.
