I am going to agree with john. it will all depend on the condition of the paint. i just used the compound on my VW with a orange pad but i did a test spot first. infact im taking a break now and going to use the new polish next.

depending on how long the tar has been on the car i use mineral spirits. Tarminator if the tar is somewhat new. just remember to put a LSP back on after.

I usually use optimum products(polish II and finish polish). but as was stated above the dark colors seem to be very soft. I usually top Honda/Acuras with a sealant

I have their sealant and the wet glaze but sorry not for sale. Sucks they went out of business I liked the product they put out. Now the stuff I have left is only used on my personal car

well it was too neglected and since i autocross my buddies car I figure what better of a way to repay him. started with ONR for a wash, clayed it, optimum polish, menerza glaze, topped with pinnacle Souveran. anyways onto the pictures

I used optimum compund and a yellow CCS pad to get all the trail marks off my liberty and make it shine again. topped it with optimum poliseal and you cant ever tell its been taken off road anymore other than the scratches in the plastic fender flares.

this is why i wear microfiber gloves when taking it out as a cake from the can and applying it to my CCS blue pad in a very thin layer. then I make sure it goes back into the plastic can after each aplication to the pad to avoid contamination from dropping it ect.

lol i think someone forgot to tighten down thier lugs after putting on thier race compound tires for autocross. SM stands for street mod a class in autocross. somewhere along the line i think i saw a SCCA shirt in there. great tech inspection before going out.

just make sure they use all OE parts. i was in a accident last year and the insureance companies just started using LKQ parts. standing for Like Kind Quality they get the parts out of the LKQ junk yard and save themselves ton of cash in the process for inferior parts that have been sitting...

well a update to my other thread i just finished up with the 95 neon i was working on. i finished it with danase glaze and a coat of pinnacle souveran paste wax. comments please.
