    Show Car Gloss Please

Thanks again for the responses. My short list was Dream Maker and Polish Angel High Gloss. I have a weekend vehicle to cruise in’s, car shows and Cars and Coffee so investing in High Gloss is not as painful as doing just one shot on a single vehicle.

    Show Car Gloss Please

The paint on the Cobra was already in very good condition. We went ahead and de-contaminated the paint……polished the paint with a finishing polish to remove hazing and spiderwebbing. Then was treated to a Griots 3 in 1 ceramic protection. It has only been driven 2 times since that process...

Which One Step In Full Sun?

Which One Step In Full Sun? A friend wants his 30 foot motor home polished to get it ready to sell. It has some mild oxidation and some streaks of staining from sitting outside. I will not have the luxury of doing the work in the shade. Full sun. which “One Step” “AIO” will work well in...

1976 Corvette Original Single Stage Paint - Paint Correction and Waxing

Impressive result Mike. You are a magician with a buffer in your hands. The paint looked pretty old and hammered. Surprising that you used a compound. You are more brave than I would have been. I would have bailed and just used Blackfire One Step twice. Just kinda snuck up on it. I have seen...

    Paint Wax Remover Spray?

I would like to polish the paint this winter while the car is in winter hibernation. I won’t be able to hand wash the car because of too cold temps so that rules out removing the wax with a washed based product. I want to start with a clean surface so as to see the true condition of the paint...

    Blackfire One Step Longevity

It's been nine days since I started this thread. It's a nice 50 degree day here in Indy so it is my last chance to get a topper on the F-150 before winter. I decide to try Griot's new ceramic spray and see how it does. It became available to the buying public today. I have the luxury of...

    Blackfire One Step Longevity

I applied Blackfire One Step yesterday to my F-150. Wanted to get some protection on the paint for our Upcoming Indiana winter. I used the synthetic clay towel with Sonax Glass Cleaner as my lubricant. Works really good as a dual purpose product. It lubrucates and also cleans the paint as...

    Are SiO2 Products Any Good?

I am starting to see a lot more buzz about these "SiO2" products and also "Ceramic Spray". Griot's debuted one at SEMA. Is it a better product than a "Sealant Spray"? Is it more durable? Does it produce more shine? More gloss? And my most important question is....can it be used as a...

Microfiber Hot Wash Ok / Safe ???

I filled the washer tub with water on the hot wash setting. I then used a common food temperature probe and checked the temp of the water. It was around 115 to 120. Good to go! I set the dryer to the delicate setting. Very warm but not real hot.

    Apply Fusion over Souveran?

I applied Pinnacle Souveran about 4 months ago. Since that time I have used Wolfgang Fusion Spray wax as a booster a few times. Also used Pinnacle Crystal Mist Detail Spray a few times before cruise in events. My question is .....can I apply Wolfgang Fusion Wax in the next month or so or...

What do you use for a Detail Prep Wash?

I too use the Sonax Glass cleaner and synthetic "mini" towel from Nanoskin. I feel I am getting two things accomplished at once. I am obviously removing the bonded contamination from the paint surface but am also "cleaning" the paint and removing the grime and maybe evening removing the...

    Cleaning Wiper Blade

I would like to periodically clean the rubber blade on my wipers. I had used IPA before but then realized that might dry out the rubber. A silicone product might make it too oily/greasy. what have you used with success or what would you recommend? Thanks!

Machine and arm speed for Pinnacle Jeweling Wax

Good info. Thanks for the responses. The car is a ‘57 Bel Air. “Matador Red”. I am a DIY and recently acquired the car. It has light scratches and swirls. I have time to try and get that last 1% out of the gloss. I am anxious to get started on correcting it. Mike....I was going to drive over...

Getting ready to use Pinnacle Jeweling Wax. I will be applying it using the Flex XFE-7 "The Finisher" and the Lake Country "Green" CCS pads. It will be the final step in the process after polishing. What speed setting to use for the machine and what type of arm speed? Should there be any...
