    Newbie- wax layering question

I have been using Meguiars Cleaner Wax on the daily drivers that I have been detailing and it does a great job and is long lasting. I would assume longevity depends on the amount of time your vehicle is exposed to the sun and the products you use to clean the finish. JMO.

Probably not going to be a lot of help but there is a detailing business in Sebring, Florida that advertises an interior and exterior detail for $150. I've seen their work and it sucks but most people don't look too close at the details. You might do a little research with your friends and...

On a sedan it takes me about 4 hours to do the entire vehicle including the sealer. I use Meguiars correction compound and then Meguiars finishing wax. Both are applied with my Porter Cable orbital buffer using the Meguiars cutting and polishing microfiber pads. Unless your finish is really...

A few questions for a detailing newbie.

Welcome to the world of doing it yourself. I retired a couple of years ago and started a detailing operation in our retirement community to keep me busy. Have detailed my own cars for years. I am partial to Meguiars products as they perform very well. Once your car has been detailed properly...
