I really like using Pinnacle Paintwork Cleanse after I use an abrasive polish. It does not fill much. I dont have to worry about tape lines, or any left over polish residue because the cleaner will take care of it. Its one more step that really pays off in my book. Try it both ways...

You are fine. The only way to know would be to get a paint gauge. I just recommend that with Jap spec cars, more attention should be paid to proper washing techniques. This way you dont have to polish often.

Try the 106 first, if that doesnt give you what you want, use it again... SIP is not needed for mitsu clear. Use the 106 and learn how to wash without inducing swirls. Then in 6-8 months use 106 again. XMT has nothing on Menz dont waste your money and get the best stuff first.

Very light swirls... It does not fill like a pure oily glaze. And the acrylic glaze lasts alot longer.

I do that with my black mitsu. The clear is soft, and I dont mind reapplying nuba wax all the time. The only glaze I have used is of the acrilyc variety... If I polished my car every time I saw one swirl I would have no clear left. :buffing:

The Makita has a larger range of speed, 600-3,000. The Flex's range starts at 1,000... I personaly want to finish at around 800. (start at 800, go to 1000, correct at 1200, and then go back down) Now I just have to decide between the makita, hitachi, or flex DA.

Its a good idea. Why most people dont do it is because it is a lot of extra work. The main thing is that you do it before you wax or seal. This will help the protection bond to the surface, and it wil get rid of any extra polish that might have been left behind. And some polish is definatly...

Wolfgang is more of a stand alone sealant. Topping it with a nuba does not enhance the look IMO. Go with the fourstar it is very very easy to work with, and works nicely with souveran.

Welcome, always nice to see another EVO owner join the forums! Second what Super said, no orbital of pure wax/ sealants. Its a waste of product, and time. Plus it just feels good to massage the wax into the paint. And, yes mitsu clear sucks, but you can get around it. :D

Once you get a edge off than you should be able to pull the hole thing off. The film is designed to release easily.
