I clean my stainless fridge with detailing spray when it needs it. It's got a clearcoat finish. Can't help myself. I've always liked a little sparkle, not just clean.

To the original poster, hopefully by now you have figured out that the Flex is the wrong tool for what you want to do. Like buying an AK-47 to go squirrel hunting. Suggest getting a Porter Cable or Meguiars da. That will do all you need to do and a LOT more for when you decide to move past...

Of all the cars I've had, silver was (and is) the best, orange was second best. It's easy work to keep a silver car looking great. My first car was an orange '72 VW Beetle convertible. That was a color that really grew on me, and it took and held a high polish well.

Know anyone with a bead blaster? When the black rubber was accidently painted on my mirrors at the body shop, the guy beadblasted it right off and it came out great. I was very surprised. Didn't hurt the rubber at all.
