Is it worth buying a Megs #16 off of ebay?

I know this is no longer made buy Meguiars due to being non VOC compliant, (or so I was told), but would it be A) worth the price (28.00) B) even legal to purchase. Or would I be better off using the current meguiars Ultimate liquid wax or #26, or #21 sealant 2.0? Any opinions/facts/legal...

And as far as Yancy taking his job seriously, that was never in question. Again, I believe other things could've been done to make it a lot better. Maybe hire another person who could help Yancy on a temporary basis?? -Chris

You're right. I thnk he DOES invest a ton of money in organizing this event. However, I believe he also reaps a ton as well. It's a business. What I'm saying is, with a business mentality, the other things he could've done to possibly reap even more, were not done. What about offering the...

I think this is a good start. The people who aren't able to make it to the show are being at least given a chance to learn aomething they may not have known before. However, there could have been so many things improved upon, and AG's revenue I'm SURE could have afforded it. This speaks volumes...

    New car owner questions !!!

That would depend on the level of swirls in the paint, as well as how perfect you're looking to get the finish. I know you said it was a new car, but that doesn't mean it's swirl-free; believe me, I've seen some cars that needed some mild polishing after the dealership wax came off. Are you...

I believe that may not be the best route to go. I am old-fashioned I guess, but I just think getting a quote from a real detailing business would suit you better. Good luck! -Chris

    Carpet Cleaning

This is essentially what I do when I'm cleaning carpets. Because I dont have an extractor or shampooer, it takes longer of course. But just take your time and remember to be thorough. You'll get great results! :D -Chris

    What am i doing wrong?

I like that color a lot. One of my favorites. I just like the original Z06 satin type wheels a little better vs the chromes. But a nice ride, nonetheless! -Chris

    Shop Vac Now at Autogeek!

After looking at this particular combo in comparing w/what you'd get at Lowes online or instore, I believe it's not that bad a deal. And to be honest, I did not see the original typo that had a higher price. All things considered, you're getting more accessories for only a few more bucks. And...

    What am i doing wrong?

Well, as I said, I have not used 105 before. In the linked above article, it says to NOT remove the product after compounding with a compounding pad. You are to polish the finish with a primed finishing pad and use very little product to complete the first step. Lots of pics included. That is a...

    What am i doing wrong?

I've never used 105, but being a compound, I would think like Ultimate compund, you need to remove it from the surface right after using it. You can always try a quick detailer to get rid of excess product if you're having a hard time removing it-at least that's how it works for me. How was the...

Pad cleaning if no powder from AG-???

I currently do NOT have any pad cleaning powder from AG which I'm looking to get, but I detailed a car yesterday and am looking for advice on helping to get the compound, polish and wax residues from out of the pads--all are meg's pads. I've gone the whole dish soap before but I notice it...

    Diluting water based interior dressings

I am not a professional detailer, but that route would seem the most logical to try. My experience has been that if I dont like the amount of sheen the product gives me, I add or wipe off accordingly. In the case of leather, I look for a leather preservative to use rather than an interior...
