Is there any way to stop it from continuing to cause damage?

I have not been taking care of my vehicles like I should be. None of my vehicles are garage kept and now that I live in Las Vegas they get abuse from the sun. Will it help t at all to polish the hood to help avoid more problems or does it not matter what I do to prevent any further damage?

I tried using some M205 and a 3" lake country orange cutting pad with my PC to remove some scratches and swirls on my truck. Most of the swirls came out on the parts I used the M205 but some most scratches did not. Would it be benieficial to go with M105 and then the M205 or should I get a...

Ouch that is pretty nasty. Like Ebg18t said, I hope the insurance company takes care of the bill for the damages. It's a shame to have nice new truck get messed up like that.

You will need about 3-4 orange light cutting pads for your car. As for products to remove the swirls you have lots of options. I have a bottle of M205 to try on my black truck. If the swirls are light enough then M205 should work. You could also try HD polish. They have some really good...

My favorite mothers product is their cleaner wax. Was able to get good results with it by hand before I bought my DA. I have always thought they had some good OTC products that most auto parts stores sell. I'd be more than happy to write a review for their products.

I have thought about a canopy. I might have too. It is a Silverado 2500 crew cab. So it's a big truck. The car is an accord. So nice and small. I will probably be doing 6 am washes too if I don't get a canopy. But with my work schedule who knows.
