    Should I two step

I have not been taking care of my vehicles like I should be. None of my vehicles are garage kept and now that I live in Las Vegas they get abuse from the sun. Will it help t at all to polish the hood to help avoid more problems or does it not matter what I do to prevent any further damage?

    Should I two step

On the polished and unpolished side I can not feel any cracks with my fingernails. I was really hoping it was fixable. But from the sounds of the comments it doesn't seem to be. Is this because I have neglected the paint on this truck for too long? It's only been about the last 6 months that I...

    Should I two step

I tried using some M205 and a 3" lake country orange cutting pad with my PC to remove some scratches and swirls on my truck. Most of the swirls came out on the parts I used the M205 but some most scratches did not. Would it be benieficial to go with M105 and then the M205 or should I get a...

    Hot weather detailing

That is what I'm gonna have to start doing. I have yet to try a drying aid. I'll give it a go on my next wash. Thanks for the advice.

    Hail really sucks!!

Ouch that is pretty nasty. Like Ebg18t said, I hope the insurance company takes care of the bill for the damages. It's a shame to have nice new truck get messed up like that.

Detailing help for a black car

You will need about 3-4 orange light cutting pads for your car. As for products to remove the swirls you have lots of options. I have a bottle of M205 to try on my black truck. If the swirls are light enough then M205 should work. You could also try HD polish. They have some really good...

A Giveaway Your MOTHER would Approve!

My favorite mothers product is their cleaner wax. Was able to get good results with it by hand before I bought my DA. I have always thought they had some good OTC products that most auto parts stores sell. I'd be more than happy to write a review for their products.

My favorite product by them is their leather care. Having kids in my truck makes a huge mess. This stuff helps keep my leather looking new. I'll write a review for any product that is needed. Good luck everyone.

    Hot weather detailing

I have thought about a canopy. I might have too. It is a Silverado 2500 crew cab. So it's a big truck. The car is an accord. So nice and small. I will probably be doing 6 am washes too if I don't get a canopy. But with my work schedule who knows.

    Hot weather detailing

That's what I'm gonna have to do I guess. Would a rinse less work too? Or would it cause water spots?

    Hot weather detailing

Living in Las Vegas makes it a challenge to clean my vehicles in the summer. The house I am in gets full sun light on the driveway and is way to hot to wash the vehicle. Short of washing it at night what other techniques could I use to wash the vehicle. Once the vehicle is washed I can pull it...

    No free gift?

I hope I get my free gift. My package arrives tomorrow. One of the many reasons I put an order in the other week. I don't remember adding anything but didn't realize I had to add it either.

Thanks everyone. I might have to check out some of the retailers in the area and see if I can get some pointers from them. Thanks for the idea.
