I replaced adams with uber rinseless at the DS dillution a few years back. I wouldn't consider adams ds a spray wax either. does D156 contain a sealant or a wax or both. the synthetic and wax terms in the product name are somewhat confusing.

presoaking with N914 or similar in a spray bottle as a waterless wash will definitely help reduce the need to scrub while doing a rinseless wash

anything to not drench the car with water from a hose considering the age will be beneficial to you

onr will work just fine. i don't do the two bucket deal with rinseless washes though i uses 4 to 6 waffle weave towels or suitable microfiber towels in the rinseless bucket and use them to wipe with rinseless never returning them to the wash bucket
