I would agree this is my issue then i will keep trying, how often do you change your pads at those speeds? at the moment i switch pads every pass or 2 to keep cool.

I use the Meguiars MF Cutting discs and the green and yellow Rupes polishing pads for most of my work. Glad to hear it isn't just me lol
