    Color wax

Hey guys, I noticed a couple of scratches on my car that are too deep to polish according to my detailer. He suggested to get colored wax, which should partially mask the scratches. Does anyone have experience with color wax or can recommend any specific products? Thank you!

    Car Covers

Thank you for the suggestions! Just ordered a new cover which I believe should be a good compromise. I wasn't feeling comfortable paying over a 100$ for a piece of cloth, but I didn't want to buy a cheap POS either. So, after a couple hours of online research I got a basic Ready-fit cover by...

    Car Covers

Hello everyone, So I'm gonna buy a cover to keep the dust off my car while it's being stored in the garage. First, I just wanted to get a 30$ cover from Amazon, but then I've come across some custom made covers that cost 200$. I certainly don't want to pay 10 times more for a piece of cloth, but...

    Undercoating a summer only car

It probably has some kind of factory undercoating, but I don't think the previous owner did any rust proofing - it's been always garaged and driven 3000 miles per year.

    Undercoating a summer only car

Northeast Ohio - can get humid and rainy in summer, but, again, the car is garaged - it will only be outside when I drive it.

    Undercoating a summer only car

Hello, Just wondering - should I rust proof a summer only driven car? The car is 11 years old, but it's in immaculate condition with no signs of rust anywhere. I'm gonna keep it in heated garage all year round, and only drive it during the summer. Is rust proofing something I should consider...

Gravel driveway how bad is it

Thanks for all the responses! At this point, I'm probably gonna contact local contractors to see how much exactly would it cost to pave the driveway. My alternative option would be to add larger size stones to make sure they don't get stuck in tires.

Gravel driveway how bad is it

Honda Accord and Mustang gt convertible. The Honda should be fine, but I'm very skeptical about driving my pony on that gravel...

Gravel driveway how bad is it

Do you remember what size stones did you add (the once that don't get stuck)? And yea, I can imagine walking there barefoot....

Gravel driveway how bad is it

Good idea, I haven't thought about it - mud flaps might actually help, and they don't look that awful

Gravel driveway how bad is it

So it seems like there are many different opinions about this... I guess it depends on the length of the driveway and the type of gravel... there is no doubt that a long stretch of gravel road will kill the paint and eventually the tires, but a short driveway might not be that damaging, even if...

Gravel driveway how bad is it

Sorry about your situation! It seems to me though that a 1/3 mile driveway is a much bigger problem than a 100-foot driveway, cause you would have to actually drive on that gravel, even if slow. For me, on the other hand, it'll be maybe 15 seconds of crawling at 2 mph... still worried about...

Gravel driveway how bad is it

Snow is the whole different issue, but in winter I'll be driving an suv so I'm not that concerned about it

Gravel driveway how bad is it

Thanks for the comments! Moisture is not an issue - there is a garage that has concrete floor in it. It'll be just going through a 100 foot long driveway, which is probably not a big deal, but with performance tires and absolutely no scratches on the car at this point, I still feel a little...

Gravel driveway how bad is it

Sorry didn't know where else to post this. I saw a similar question, but that was about long term parking on gravel. My question is I'm moving into a new house that has gravel driveway. I noticed that I always have several stones stuck in my tires. Can these rocks damage the tires? I'm also...

    Paint protection options

Hey guys, this is my first post so don't be hard on me! I need an advice regarding paint protection for my newly purchased car (2006 Ford Mustang gt). I haven't done much detailing to the cars I owned before, so I'm overwhelmed by available options. The car will be garage kept and weekend...
