search airway buffing wheel if you have a rotary buffer and order a couple of them. Usually i would start with a green wheel and brown bar of compound and move on to a white wheel with a green compound bar. if you want it perfect then you can go to a da polisher with something ultra fine like...

    Insurance for mobile detailing business

When i was setting mine up i went with 100k single vehicle value (with a max of 1 million total value) since it is rare i get anything over 90k in value. But when going over the paperwork i saw that if i am ever off by more than 10% in vehicle value (above my insured value) i will not be...

Best Product to remove Super Sticky Sticker Residue?

goo gone spray gel is nice as you can spray it on and let it dwell and it doesn't run off as fast. I have mixed the goo gone gel 50/50 with goof off and got a stronger product with a bit of thickness left so it will stay where it is sprayed and soften things up well.

Hard time choosing a product duo for Pre-Waxing, polishing and waxing/sealing

By hand i would think you are not getting the swirls out in any reasonable amount of time. So, i would just get s decent glaze ( i have used 3d's ultra glaze and it corrects well and fills as well with a da so you will not really get the correcting by hand but the fillers last a few months and...

how long are you taking to detail an average car?

For the last month i have been doing 1-2 dealer trucks a week which threw my normal numbers way out of wack since the trucks i am getting generally are trade ins from contractors that have not touched them cleaning wise since the lease date (1-4 years) and are closer to restoration jobs than...

Menzerna/Sonax drying, pitching polish balls, hazing, stumped. Please help :(

If it turns out to be really soft i would try searching "finishing with H205 from Kevin Brown" it is a great way to finish really soft paint with water mixed with m205 and a soft pad. Seems like a great thing to try when having a really tough time finishing a paint.

I have done quite a few of these and always in the worst condition imaginable as i get them from dealer trade ins from contractors. Anyone ever try the detail while you .... angle??

i too like the idea just would have to get a better look at the shop size and run numbers on how many cars can fit in while leaving a workable space and see if that would be enough to justify the lease price compared to the others i am considering. Never thought about the liability of picking...

Hey, i am just curious what all of you are taking on average to do a typical detail (wash, clay, seal or 1 step polish/wax, interior detailed vac, minor stain removal, hard surface cleaning). 2 month old DA Polisher broke and no customer care from Eshine

So i bought a swirl buster kit with some pads and a Porter Cable DA from Eshine.ca (an Canadian autogeek re-seller). I have got maybe 8-12 cars out of it over the last 2 months and it started smoking and siezed up. I phoned Eshine who said "we don't offer a warranty on any of our items sorry...
