Yes, it does. Actually a little easier. I just put two layers of it on my garage queen 911, about 24 hours apart. The gloss is better than Power Lock Plus too, to my eye.

After doing some more research, it seems that if you run a polisher over a matte/satin finish, it stops being a matte/satin finish. That is, the properties of the finish that refract rather than reflect light get abraded down. So machine polishing doesn't seem to be the answer for these...

Is there a way to remove PBL Wheel Coating other than letting it wear off? I had good results with it on a previous car, but it isn't working well on Porsche satin black forged wheels. (i.e. it doesn't seem to make it any easier to clean off the accumulated brake dust, which is still adhering...

Thanks again gentlemen. In case helpful for others, I'm getting excellent results from Menzerna 3500 on LC white pads, four section passes normal pressure, then 2-4 light pressure to bring up the gloss. Tried Menz 3800 on LC grey pads, then Menz 3500 on LC grey pads, but scratches remained.
