To the guys that have cordless Shinemates 15mm and 21mm, what's this I hear about the charger draining the battery if you leave it on there after it's fully charged?

maybe that piece was dyed/repaired recently?

Do you have black paint on your pad? If you do that means you went through the clear coat. If you don't have black paint on your pad then it's possible this car has had X-Kote or RestorFX applied to it and that's what you're removing. It's a pain in the ass to take off.

It looks like the soap is drying up on the car before he gets a chance to rinse it. He's taking too long and letting the soap sit there and dry up. I suggest soaping and rinsing one panel at a time like @spazzz suggested and see if the problem persists.

Nope you won't screw up your paint. Actually by the time summer comes that sealant might not even be on your paint anymore

Yeah it's not necessary. Most cars now come covered with plastic and heat shields from end to end and come undercoated from factory. The only parts exposed are the exhaust and control arms/links/joints etc. but some customers really really want undercoating covering everything underneath even if...

I'm the head detailer for a dealership and a lot of other dealerships bring their cars to me and I deal with a lot of pro packs (paint protection, fabric protection, leather protection, rust protection and undercoating). Whatever they put on your paint is probably just a sealant. It won't last...

Looks like a wipe on clear coat or something. We have X Kote and RestorFX in my area and I heard it's a pain in the ass to polish. Might be similar to Optimum's Clear Coat Restorer.

Disconnect the battery, cover the MAF sensor, cover the alternator. You already have a plastic engine cover protecting coils etc. so you should be fine. Spray APC/degreaser, agitate, rinse, dry, reconnect battery and you're good to go.
