Review - Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish

Quick question here, we can't get UFF in Canada so I bought some by crossing the border in Niagara Falls, NY. I want to pick up another can and I'm going to Niagara Falls this week however I will be leaving my car parked at the airport for 4 days and the temperature is going to be cold during...

Inexpesive hand held light for paint correction?

This is probably going to sound crazy but I didn't want to go out to any stores today (too crazy on Christmas eve!) so I decided to just try out the flashlight on my iPhone to see if it could help me spot the imperfections and it did a half decent job, especially once it started getting darker...

Inexpesive hand held light for paint correction?

^^ that looks like a good light but still way too pricey, but the time I ship it up to Canada it'll be over $100.

Inexpesive hand held light for paint correction?

I have terrible lighting in my garage (just one single bulb) and since I probably won't be able to drive my brand new Corvette for the next couple of months I figured this is a good time to go over the finish and remove any minor scratches that might be on the finish from the assembly, transport...

New Car !! ceramic coating question

That would have been my worst nightmare if I had paid $699 and my new car came with the paint messed up like that too. At least in your case you didn't pay for it, and you have the skills to remove the damage yourself. Just think about all those people out there that buy new cars and have stuff...

New Car !! ceramic coating question

I almost got suckered into something like that on my new Corvette! For $699 they were going to apply this product called Diamond Kote which has a 10 year warranty, as long as you let them re apply it after 5 years (free of charge they say). So because it makes claims like repelling bird...

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

This is my brand new 2018 Corvette as it currently sits at the dealership. I pick it up tonight and I'm hoping it'll be warm enough in my garage to put a coat of Meguiar's UFF on it right away. If the paint feels smooth to the touch I won't bother claying it first (no need to marr the finish if...

For you cold weather guys Last

In SW FL, such as Marco Island, Naples, it has been in the 80s almost every day for a while now and stays high in the 60s overnight. I keep checking the current weather conditions constantly because I'm going to be on Marco Island for a week at the end of this month, it's currently 82 on the...

For you cold weather guys Last

You must be in the north part of Florida because anywhere in the south is still in the high 60s even after dark these days, and in the 80s during the day. That's not cold at all.

Using a Clay Bar On Paint Coatings?

I feel I'm in the same boat too, I love the idea of the self cleaning features of a coating, but it just seems like ceramics might be a better fit for people that don't do any detailing on their cars whatsover as opposed to people like us that like to tinker a bit more. What I truly think is my...

Recommend temp to apply wheel coating and sealant

Why not bring a little space heater into the garage so you can at least get it up to around 60 or 70 in there?

Using a Clay Bar On Paint Coatings?

What if one were to use a super fine clay mitt instead?

    UFF vs the other WOWAs?

I do think that 12 months is wishful thinking for any sealant, as I really don't think any product is going to last that long unless it's on a garage kept car that is never driven in the rain and only washed with the best car wash products. Unfortunately that's not the real world and most cars...

    UFF vs the other WOWAs?

I know they've been out for a while, but my first experience using a WOWA product has just been in the last few weeks when I started using Meguiar's new Ultimate Fast Finish and I love it! The ease of which it applies is actually fun, and saves so much time, and I can't imagine myself going back...

Deep Gloss Liquid Seal is amazing....seriously

After trying out Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish and loving it, I'm sold on the whole WOWA movement! I'll never go back to a regular sealant again, these products are so easy to use and so much faster. It now has me wanting to try other similar products, and now DGLS is definitely on my radar!

    Non regretful detailing product purchase

For me this year (and from this forum) I discovered Meguiar's UFF and I love it! Super easy to use and behaves kind of like a ceramic coating (good self cleaning, repels water, doesn't attract as much dust, improves the shine)

    Tipping Point vis-a-vis Detailing

I had a black 98 Corvette and I hired a mobile detailer to buff out the scratches and he did a great job but he worked outside on a cloudy day and whatever products he used must have used some fillers because after I did the first wash and saw it in bright sun I could see some minor buffer...

Need (Mental) Help! Just Quick Detailed My Car TWICE in One Day

That's not crazy at all, a couple of weeks ago my wife and I went for a drive up north in my Corvette to see the fall colors, and drove about 300 miles through some beautiful windy roads. But every time my wife wanted to stop to take some pictures, I would see dust on my car so I would break out...
