I am looking at Ram's Billet Silver Metallic, and it does appear to have a fair bit of metallic in it... not sure if one can make it pop though, but then again that may just be over rated...

I have not had pearl white...I can see how that might be different. Yeah no issue seeing the chemical decon do it's thing on white. Also no trouble seeing the effects of environmental fallout leaving some brown specks on the paint either, after a long winter.

Just wondering if anybody has experience with GG Fabric protectant. Have searched the forum and found quite a bit of praise for Ultima fabric Guard as well as 303 Fabric guard, although that one does not seem to be recommended for interiors. I know there is a lot of GG fans in the forum here...

So you would consider Collinite 845 to be in the same league as a sealant more so than a wax?

As is 3D degreasers, no harsh smell, and very effective cleaning. The one I am most familiar with is the Orange Citrus Degreaser 109. My wife keeps stealing it from me for cleaning certain things around the house, it works so good.

We dont use fabric softener, not even with our everyday clothes. We use vinegar now, havent used fabric softener in years. But yes , I do wash the PFM's with the other microfibre cloths, so they could very well be contaminated, hadn't thought of that! Maybe I will soak them in the dedicated MF...

No drying aids or spray waxes used with these guys. I do use spray wax but have separate microfibres for that.

I have a couple of GG PFM drying cloths, they work very well, but have been around a while and seen lots of use. I always wash microfibre towels by themselves and my go to detergent for cleaning them is 3D Towel Clean. I dry them on a medium setting on the dryer. What I have found is that a...

I agree.....it's expensive relative to ethanol free fuel at the pump, but for the amount you burn in a season in many of these small engines, it's worth it.

I have also bought Bosch blades a couple times over the years, and they have been among the worst blades I have bought. Not only does your hot CA sun kill them but so does our frigid northern climate. In no time at all they started to act like worn out blades and the rubber would tear, and leave...

Same here...been there done that enough now, and that was before I was a detail junkie...don't honestly think I could handle it now!

Just like you, I hate the idea of using paper towel to buff off the Aquapel. I tried mf towels but they seemed to lint too much when using them with Aquapel, yet when used on their own, they don't seem to lint. So what do you use to buff it off?
